The LEGO 7864-1 12V Transfomer was only sold in Europe for the 12V train system in the 1980's. Only a transformer for 220V input voltage was offered. You can use this in 110V countries with a step-up transformer, I am using it with a product like Voltage Converter, 70W Power Voltage Transformer 70W 110V/120V to 220V/240V 55-60HZ.
